
Techstorm's Headquarter Campus
DUTS design was commissioned in 2019 to create a world-class "complex corporate headquarters campus" for its owners. Techstorm's new headquarters campus is located in the new Lingang area of the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone. It is connected to Yangshan International Hub Port in the east and Pudong International Aviation Port in the north, and is located at the important node of Shanghai coastal corridor, enjoying obvious location advantages. The total area of the project is 25,802 square meters.
"The office environment and architectural features of a company should be like the logo and VI of the company, which can fully show his unique image and personality, become the business card of the company, and become an inseparable part of the corporate culture".
This is both an opportunity and a challenge for DUTS design. In order to meet this requirement, DUTS design aims to create not only a new office headquarters for Techstorm, but also a sustainable green home, a super battleship with technological attributes and functional iterations, an architectural bridge to the future, and a world-class ultra-modern complex office park.
The unified layout and planning of the whole park, a collection of office, R&D, production, leisure, display and other functions, humanized office environment and functional layout, can fully meet the needs of employees, some areas have the potential for re-planning and functional iteration, and can make corresponding adjustments according to the future development of the enterprise. DUTS design adopted a cantilevered building form to create an ultra-modern exterior. The unique shape of the building brings out the innovation, pattern and technological image of the company. The unique waterfront platform at the entrance of the building makes the whole building more dynamic like a battleship at sea and frees up a lot of space in terms of function. It brings more humanistic experience for people in it, and creates a sense of relaxation and comfort like a public cultural "gray space".
